8 of the Coolest Cycling Caps

Keep sun, rain and sweat out your eyes with one of these cool and classy caps

Cycling caps serve a number of purposes. Firstly, they keep the sun out of your eyes. Secondly, they keep the rain out of your eyes. Thirdly, they keep the sweat out of your eyes. And lastly? They look really cool.

A cycling cap is an expression of personality just as much as a tool of functionality, and as a result brands make a special effort to offer them in tons of cool prints and styles. That, and if there’s a particular club, team or organisation you want to support, they’ll more than likely have their own version.

You can wear them peak down, or peak up, but ideally under a helmet – here are a few of our favourites…

Chapeau! Lightweight Polka Dot Cap

With red, white and blue polka dots on this cap you can view it as a nod of support to the GB squad at this year’s Olympics – or just a cool pattern to finish off your favourite cycling outfit.

One size fits all with stretchy elastic around the rear of the cap, you can pick this one up for £14.99.

HOY Vulpine Cap

HOY Vulpine arrived on the scene last summer and we love the range, especially some of the cool track stripe accessories available.

The cap is probably one of our favourites, particularly when we get to wear it when heading down to the velodrome.

Check it out here for £12.

Morvelo Ride Everything Cap

If you’re looking for cool and stylish cycling gear then Morvelo are your guys – and they’ve got a wide range of caps. Our favourite, however, is this ‘Ride Everything’ black and white version which we’re sure would provide plenty of motivation when the road ahead looks tough.

Check it out here, for £15.

Rapha Canyon//SRAM Cap

Wait, did we mention you can now buy the full Cayon//SRAM cycling kit from Rapha, to go with the bike? Well, you can – here.

The full kit, though awesome, is kind of pricey but you can get the cap here for just £20. As well as being fast drying and wicking (like most) it also features a special party trick in the shape of anti-bacterial lining tape – because we all sweat.

Bianchi Reparto Corse racing hat

Bianchi isn’t just a bike brand, its a bit of a cult, really. If you’re part of the Bianchi community, then this cap will certainly be up your street. In the legendary celeste hue, it’s quintessentially Bianchieque… and it matches the TWC logo, too!

See it here, and find a UK dealer on the site.

Campagnolo Classica Cotton Cycling Cap

Sticking with the classy Italian vibe, this Campag cap was produced to celebrate the brand’s 80th Birthday. Available in a rainbow of colours, you can snap one up here for just £9.99.

Drops Team Cycling Cap

Drops are a brand new UCI team for 2016, and we included them in our best team kits in 2016 post. Now, you can show your support and buy the cap here, for just £7.50.

Forward Kitty Cap

We had to include this one, because it’s absolutely awesome! We’re loving the cool kitty vibe. The only drawback is that it’s $30 (that’s fine) but postage overseas costs $20. Worth it though, right? See it here.
