Any list of cycling trousers wouldn’t be complete without an entry from Levi’s. Designed for the urban cyclist, the 511 skinny commuter trousers are durable, featuring a double-layered seat and back pockets to help minimise wear and tear in the saddle.

A nifty design feature is the U-lock storage loop on the waistband, helping reduce time when you’re chaining your bike up. The 511s allow you to ride, live and work in the same pair of trousers – we like!

With the widest variation in sizes from a 27 to 38 inch waist, with three leg lengths 30, 32 and 34 inch, these trousers are definitely suitable for women, with the cream option you could even get away with them in a smartish office.
