10. York’s Hill, Kent
The Catford Hill Climb in the world’s oldest bike race – and we reckon some people who registered for the first one might still be climbing. Although it’s just 600m in length, the gradient approaches 25 per cent in places and it is particularly infamous due to the crumbling road surface and steep banks.
