Wiggle has announced that it will be hosting its first ever Mountain Bike Demo Day. The event is scheduled to take place between 10am and 6pm on Saturday 16th November 2014 in Swanage, Dorset.
The event will offer cyclists the opportunity to test-ride over 40 of the latest bikes from four of Wiggle’s top MTB brands– GT, Kona, Felt and Charge. Wiggle have also partnered with Lezyne, who are supplying a selection of their latest lights for customers to trial with the bikes as it gets darker into the evening.
Based at the Herston Camp Site, Swanage, the day will run on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. It’s therefore advised that riders arrive early to ensure that they can access their preferred bikes. Riders will then be invited to join a 4 mile route around the stunning Purbecks.
The route will enable riders to test the technical capabilities of the bike and will also create plenty of opportunities to ask Wiggle staff and brand representatives about the technical features of each bike. It’s also an ideal opportunity to meet other MTB enthusiasts.
For riders who have not attended a demo day before, the process is simple: please bring along your usual bike helmet plus pedals or spd’s and cycling shoes if relevant (bikes will only be fitted with basic flat pedals), wear your usual riding clothes or comfortable clothing.
To have a test-ride on one of the bikes, you will need to complete a ‘signing-in’ form and hand in a form of ID. You will then be able to try any of the bikes.
It would also be advisable to bring some money for some refreshments between testing bikes, or to enjoy a chat over coffee with some new faces. Also, we’d suggest that you bring a waterproof jacket, just in case.
This event is open to all levels of rider, from novice to experienced. Goody bags will be available on the day and there is also the chance to win some great dhb kit from the latest men’s and women’s MTB ranges.
