The popular Macmillan Cycletta is back, and to celebrate it’s 25th year, it’s going to be bigger than ever.
With two October dates to enter: Cheshire and Bedfordshire, riders will be able to choose from three routes: 24Km, 40Km and 70Km.
On Sunday October 2nd, the beautiful and historic Tatton Park will host the Cheshire event, and has been a firm favourite in the Macmillan Cycletta series thanks to the stunning scenery. Situated in Knutsford, and just 20 miles from Manchester, it’s easily accessible by both road, rail and of course bike.
“Macmillan are delighted to again be involved in the Cycletta series for 2016. Last year these two events raised over £46,000 helping us to provide vital support to ensure no-one has to face cancer alone. We are urging as many ladies as possible to get out on their bikes and join Team Macmillan this year.” – Nicola Jones, Macmillan Cancer Support’s Challenge Events Team
On Sunday October 9th, Woburn Abbey Estate will host the Bedforshire event offering a picturesque backdrop for riders, who will have the opportunity to start and finish in its grand surroundings. It’s conveniently situated just ten minutes from the M1, just south of Milton Keynes.
To celebrate the 25th Macmillan Cycletta, an early bird pricing has been introduced. Anyone who signs up to either event by Tuesday 3rd May can do so for just £25.
The Macmillan Cycletta is a great women’s only event for riders of all abilities. It’s the perfect excuse to push your skills, meet some lovely riding women and raise money for a wonderful cause.
