We’ve all wished for our own domestique to bring us fresh bidons during a long ride, so when we saw this concept by Austrian designer Kristof Retezar, that literally creates drinking water FROM THE AIR, we got pretty excited.
The bottle is called Fontus and it’s up for the prestigious James Dyson award this year. It collects the moisture contained in the air and condenses it so it’s safe to drink. It harvests up to half a litre in an hour in the right climatic conditions.
The project is currently just a concept looking for investors. Whip round, anyone?
