The shortlist for the 2014 BBC Cymru Wales Sports Personality of the Year award has been announced, and it includes three female cyclists.
The award, now in its 60th year, will be given to the athlete that gains the most public votes. Voting opens on 1st December.
All three female cyclists have had great years, with Elinor Barker giving a strong showing at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games and helping her team to gold at the European Track championships; Manon Carpenter becoming Mountain Bike World Champion in Norway in September; and Rachel James gaining two para World Championship golds with her race partner Sophie Thornhill.
