WaG Fest (Women and Gender Variant) Cycling Talks in London this Saturday

Discussion on commuting, competing and cycling activism taking place this weekend

Our friends at the London Bike Kitchen are hosting an exciting afternoon of cycling chat this Saturday.

WaG (women and gender variant) Fest will feature talks on urban riding and commuting, racing and competitive cycling, and cycling activism.

The star studded speaker list includes Velo City Girl blogger, Lady Velo – also known as Jools Walker, Trek’s women’s guru, Chris Garrison, plus professional racers including Charge/Assos’ Juliet Elliott.

Speaking on bikes and activism, will be the London Bike Kitchen’s own Jenni Gwiazdowski alongside Amy Aeron-Thomas (Roadpeace), and Nicola Hill (The Bike Project).

After the three panel discussions, there will be time to listen to inspiring stories from Emily Chappell, who has completed many ultra cycling adventures.

Representatives from major London cycling clubs, including Twickenam CC, Brixton CC, Velo Club Londres (VCL), will be on hand to answer questions from those considering joining the club scene.
