Extreme Sports Centre Coming to South Wales

Huge investment into extreme sports will see a new BMX track, MTB trails and more

New trails, new facilities and new activities are all exciting and very much welcomed by the mountain bike community. Plans have been released which show a new partnership between World-Class Extreme Sports and The Circuit of Wales to open a new sports and leisure facility, and we couldn’t be more excited.

The proposed 336 hectare multi-purpose sports and leisure facility by Extreme Sports will see a wide variety of indoor and outdoor sports on offer: mountain bike trails, BMX tracks, skate park, trampoline park and more. The Circuit of Wales, based north of Ebbw Vale in Blaenau Gwent, welcomes the addition to its already impressive motor racing circuit.

This new venture will see a massive increase to the local economy of South Wales with over 10,000 new jobs being created, and an estimated £50m per annum into the area. The proposal expects to welcome around 750,000 visitors a year, from all over the UK. Of course, a facility such as this will do wonders to help promote more involvement in extreme and urban sports also.

Having a complex where you can visit, ride, stay over and try other exciting activities is a great way to satisfy your adrenaline junkie desires. With everything you need in one site, this proposal offers a safe and staffed environment suitable for all abilities, ages and even families.
