The wait is finally over as the bold and beautiful Flare Clothing brand has launched their stunning 2016 line of women’s MTB wear.
What started out as a university project, Flare Clothing has developed into one of the industry leading brands for women’s mountain bike apparel.
The founder of Flare Clothing, Hannah Myers, has worked hard to develop functional, stylish and performance based kit for all riders from amateur to professional.
So what can we expect to find with their new 2016 line?
The Roost line is Flare’s downhill riding kit. Constructed from tough hard-wearing 560-denier Cordura fabric, these shorts allow freedom of movement when you’re tearing up those alpine trails, and offer more abrasion resistance from kickback and debris.
The long-sleeve jerseys are made from CoolMax polyester with superb wicking properties to keep you cool throughout the ride.
The new colour-ways offer a dynamic bright purple and yellow combination, ideal for keeping visible on the trails, and a more subtle teal and monochrome set.

For more endurance and all-mountain rider, Flare has updated their Stage enduro line of shorts and 3/4 length jerseys.
The jerseys are made from a unique polyester which feels super light, and a lot like a cotton shirt. However, it still maintains essential performance properties such as wicking away moisture and maximum breathability.
The 4-way stretch polyester shorts are lighter and thinner than the heavy duty Roost model, as they stretch and flex with the rider offering comfort and performance.
The new design features a mountain range landscape showcasing the sense of adventure and freedom you can achieve on two wheels.
