Buying your first mountain bike can be a little daunting because there’s so much choice, and a lot of ascending price tags.
The new 2017 line from the re-invented brand, Marin Bikes, proves to have something for everyone, especially beginner mountain bikers.
A Guide to Buying your First Full-Suspension
The new Hawk Hill full-suspension mountain bike is a brand new model from Marin Bikes, designed to be future-proof, affordable and stylish to get you hooked into trail life.
“It’s a bike that is built to encourage new riders into the sport, give them a great fun experience on the trail, and grow with them.” – John Oldale, Brand Manager for Marin Bikes
Built on a 650b wheel set, and equipped with 120mm front and rear travel, this aluminium triple butted frame has a stylish trail geometry. A Shimano Deore group-set houses a wide 1×10 drive-train with a 32T chain-ring up front, and a 11-42T cassette in the rear.
The great thing about the Hawk Hill is that it’s designed to last, and carry you through your progression as a rider. Upgradeable components, dropper post compatible and internal cable routing gives plenty of growing room to last you many trail miles to come.
The Hawk Hill will be available in the UK next year, with an RRP of just £1100. A great price tag for a performance future-proof bike to get you started in the world of dirt.
