The Fate Expert has women specific XC geometry designed around 29inch wheels, the FACT 8m carbon frame has a tapered head tube and internal cable routing. It’s fitted with the race ready RockShox Sid 29 Brain (bottom adjust) fork offering 80mm travel. The new Solo Air spring is highly adjustable, and lighter riders will appreciate the Brain Fade and rebound adjustment too – it’s a tuneable fork great for performance XC riding or racing.
Other components are high end, as you’d expect at this price point, and include the Roval Control 29 carbon wheelset – lightweight, stiff and compliant with durable alloy hubs. There’s more carbon on offer with the SRAM S-2200 carbon double XC crankset with 36/22 gearing with SRAM X7 front derailleur, Shimano provide the SLX shifter and top of the range XTR rear derailleur. Custom Magura MTS hydraulic disc brakes provide consistent and reliable stopping with adjustable reach for smaller hands.
All in all it’s a high end XC machine that’s begging to be raced hard and fast, and why not? The price tag may be high but so is the technology and performance!
