Katy Curd Teams up with Pure Body Balance to Host MTB Retreat Weekend

Coaching, nutrition, yoga and riding bikes, what more could you want from a retreat?

Have you been a busy bee, working and often neglecting essential ‘you-time’? Perhaps you should book yourself into a weekend retreat, and we don’t mean a relaxing spa weekend of pampering, we mean riding bikes with a World Champ and coaching from some of the best nutritionists and body scientists in the industry.

Pure Body Balance Centre for Wellbeing, based in Rendcomb, will be hosting a collection of weekend escapes for passionate mountain bikers in the awesome and beautiful setting of the Forest of Dean.

It’s not just about riding bikes either, you’ll be accompanied by world champion pro rider, Katy Curd, exercise specialist, Adrian Stokes, yoga and nutrition coach and chef, Karen Maidment and Jake Ireland from Sprung Suspension. With this team of experts, you can expect to receive the very best in MTB coaching, training tips and nutritional guidance to help boost your performance on the bike.

This action packed weekend is perfectly balanced with timeout sessions including beautiful countryside walks, open fire cooking in the summer and log fires in the autumn, post-ride yoga, massage therapy and nutrition workshops to maximise your health on and off the bike.

The weekend retreat package costs £349, but if you book 8 weeks in advance the early bird price is £299. So, what’s included in the price?

  • 2 MTB specific corrective exercise class
  • 2 nutrition & lifestyle workshop
  • 2 yoga & mindfulness class
  • 2 nights’ accommodation
