First Look: Madison Women’s AW17 MTB Collection

The new women's MTB collection is here from Madison and it's bigger than ever

The clocks have changed and we’re getting stuck into the colder weather months as the shorter days bring with them cooler temperatures and wetter climates. Fortunately for us mountain bikers, we’ll ride whatever the weather.

Fortunately for us, we can get down and dirty on the trails this winter with the help of British cycling apparel brand, Madison. Their new women’s mountain bike collection covers you from the wind, rain and everything in between to see you through until spring.

There are four women’s MTB collections from Madison; D.T.E – their hardwearing bad-weather apparel. Flux – adaptable and lightweight. Zena – the colourful cold weather collection. Leia – for lifestyle riding. So let’s look at these in more detail…

Madison D.T.E

If you’re looking for some hardwearing kit to keep you warm and dry on the trails this winter, then Madison’s D.T.E collection is just the ticket, perfect for when the weather just won’t let up.

Fully waterproof, the jacket, trousers and shorts from the D.T.E collection have fully taped seams, adjustability and a number of features to make riding your bike in bad weather just that little easier.

Madison Flux

Madison’s Flux range of women’s mountain bike clothing is lightweight, versatile and ideal for your all-mountain adventures.

With the new collection bursting with colour, you’ll be pleased to see it’s not all pink and girly as colourways include lime greens and cool blues as well – although, personally, I quite like the deep pink tones of the Flux kit!

Warm, stylish, comfortable and protective. What more could you want from winter riding kit?

The new Zena kit has been redesigned for AW17 to offer more for less. With a variety of bright colours to alight the trails with, shorts, jackets and layers complete the collection this year.

There are two types of shorts to choose from, the Zena shorts which are a lightweight trail short and the DWR 4-season short which are slightly longer, more hardwearing and waterproof.
