Working out what to do next weekend? We’ve got the perfect suggestion – come along to The London Bike Show! It's open from Thursday 13th to Sunday 16th February, at the ExCel Centre, London.

There’s going to be lots to see – so make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to look around

Not only will The London Bike Show be a treasure trove of bikes and kit to drool over, there are also loads of activities and events going on, including a brand new Total Women’s Cycling stand!

Come and say hello to the Total Women’s Cycling team!

What’s on at The London Bike Show?

All the big cycling brands will be exhibiting, showcasing their shiny new products for 2014. Expect bikes, clothes, gadgets and gear galore.

You won’t just get to look at the stuff on show – oh no! There’s also the chance to ride some of it too, as Road Cycling UK will be running a test track. Kick start your training with the Bike Radar Training Hub, catch a talk in the Cycling Performance Theatre, or go for it on the Pump Track.

We’re also going to be hosting the Total Women’s Cycling Awards on Thursday evening, so if you’re visiting the show that day, we’d love you to come along.

This is of course just the tip of the iceberg, so visit The London Bike Show website for loads more information.

We’ll be able to point you in the direction of the various stands and companies at the show that won or made the shortlist in the Total Women’s Cycling Awards.

We’ll also be scoping out which stands have a particularly good offer for women cyclists, whether that’s kit, products, bikes, trips or are just friendly, knowledgeable and approachable.

We’d like you to think of us as the hub of women’s cycling at the show!

What’s on the stand?

Apart from your lovely editors (of course!) we’ll be highlighting the winners of the first ever Total Women’s Cycling Awards, so you can find out which brands, companies and individuals our readers have voted the best!

Look out for our shiny new stand!

What show stand would be complete without a few goodies to give away? We’ve got tons of stickers so grab one (or two!), slap ‘em on your bike, laptop, notebook (points for imagination!) and share the Total Women’s Cycling love.

Freebies that are useful as well as lovely are obviously a good thing, so we’re bringing along a limited number of special Total Women’s Cycling water bottles. We’ll only have a few to give away each day, and it’s first come first served so make sure you make a beeline for us!

And last but certainly not least, we’ll be running a competition throughout the duration of the show. Enter your details, and you could be cycling away on a beautiful Bobbin Birdie bicycle, kindly provided by Wiggle.

Bobbin Birdie Bicycle

“The Birdie is Bobbin’s most popular bike and there are thousands of women swishing around town and along country lanes on it’s trademark colourful frames. With it’s no-fuss 3-speed hub hears, mudguards and rear rack, the Birdie is practical, easy to look after after and magically smooth to ride.”

About Bobbin Bicycles:

“Bobbin are interested in recapturing the magic and excitement that their staff all felt from riding their first bikes, with the bicycles having their own personalities (and sometimes even names). The idea that cycling doesn’t have to be sporty is very important to us. Buying a Bobbin means you can arrive at meeting, an art gallery or a date on time and in style.

The bikes are beautiful, romantic machines that happen to be very practical. They have useful design features like mudguards, covered chains, hub gears and carrier racks so you can wear your everyday clothes and carry all your stuff around whilst looking effortlessly chic and unflustered.”
