Lizzie Tench suffered severe misfortune when she was driven off the road while out on her bike with her husband by a car trailer.

Left paralysed from the waist down, Tench showed incredible strength and determination as she adapted to her new lifestyle proving there is always a way.

Since her accident, Tench has earned a spot on the para-triathlon team and now competes both internationally and closer to home.
