The intrepid tourers left Suffolk in March, and they’re now 13 weeks into the adventure. The most recent updates on the page  Dog on Tour  tell us the pair have rounded the coast of Scotland, and reached Ayrshire.

Grandmother to eight, Maggie has cycled the Great Wall of China, and sailed halfway round the world – when we first chatted to her, she told us: “Life is for living and I like to think this might be an inspiration to other people.”

Maggie is hoping to raise £25,000 over the course of her six months on tour – with donations going to Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research and Stillborn & Neonatal Deaths.
