Being a cycling courier is not an easy job. You can be on your bike for up to 10 hours a day, cycling for up to 70 miles. Your legs will get very sore and the pay isn’t the greatest.

  5. You won’t be stuck in the office. You won’t be locked up in a stuffy office without windows and you won’t be forced to sit on a chair on your bottom all day. Do you know how many people would kill to be able to work outdoors? You get to see the sun and feel the wind on your face everyday and, you can forget all about annoying office chit-chat.
  6. The freedom. One of the main reasons people love the job is the freedom they get from being able to work on their bike all day.
  7. You will become so much more skilled on the bike. You will be able to finally master that track stand you’ve been trying to do in no time!
  8. There are no gender boundaries. Men and women deliver the same packages, are paid the same and have the same job expectations.
  9. You get paid to ride your bike. Being a cycling courier allows you to do what you love doing every single day.
  10. The job can be very interesting. You never know what parcels you will be delivering that day and most importantly who too. You will definitely have some stories to tell. Remember these are the city’s most prized and personal packages.
  11. The community spirit. There’s a very close tight knit community in the world of cycle couriering, you will make great friends with others who all share the same experiences as you on the road.
