A twelve mile round-trip route starting and ending in Portstewart, allows cyclists to visit the Giant’s Causeway and marvel at the infamous basalt columns.
Cycle through Portrush and Bushmills and then follow the tourist train track to the Causeway. You’ll need a ticket to get to the columns, this can be bought in advance online or upon arrival at the ticket centre.
Whilst there, be sure to ascend the Shepherd’s Steps and hike across the cliff-top trail for the best view of the Causeway. On your way back to Portstewart take the inland cycle path to make it a circular route.
