Example Recipe Post
To give you an example, here’s a tasty recipe from Nat@JoyrideCycles for Bircher Muesli.
Recipe Title: Bircher Muesli (serves 2)
My favourite breakfast at the moment is Bircher Muesli; it keeps you so full, it’s packed with good stuff and sets you up for a ride like nothing else
Ingredients:
100g rolled oats or porridge
100ml semi skimmed milk
100ml orange juice (trust me it works!)
3 heaped tbs of low fat yoghurt
2 grated apples
1 tbs honey or agave syrup
2 handfulls of whatever you like! I use chopped pistachios, dried blueberries and dried cranberries
1 chopped banana to top
Method:
Add all the ingredients to a bowl and stir. Cover and refrigerate. Add the banana just before serving.
Hints and Tips:
This is best made-up the night before for it to soften.
It will keep nicely for a couple of days in the fridge so make a big batch up and have instant breakfast in the mornings!
The orange juice preserves the apple and stops it going brown.
Whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner; or cake, cake and more cake, post it in the forum, share it with us, and see it on the site.
