The car manufacturer Kia has revisted its two-wheeled heritage with the launch at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show of two e-bikes, the City and the MTB (pictured). Prices have yet to be unveiled but the brake and gear components are from Shimano and it’ll be assembled in Germany, and Kia has drawn on its automative heritage to mirror with metal the kind of finish normally achieved in carbon. With a top speed of 25kph it’s not going to be challenging a four-wheel drive Kia any time soon, but it will certainly mix up the e-bike market.
