PaperSpokes: Urban Cycling Crates

A new crowdfunder has launched for cycling crates

A team of designers from Budapest have launched a new crowd-funding campaign to get their company, PaperSpokes, off to a flying start.

They’ve designed two styles of bicycle crates to help with your everyday commute, or just a ride around town. These boxes are made from a high quality wood which has been specially treated to withstand the harsh UK weather.

The Spotty design is the smaller crate of the two, using the holes in the crate to arrange your shock cords accordingly, creating the perfect fit for your cargo.

The larger design is called the ZigZag which is rectangular in shape and it fitted with a fixed shock cord.

Both of these designs can be fitted easily to the front or back of your bicycle. They are easily to install and remove whenever they’re not needed.

Their target is to raise €15,000 to get their product off the ground and onto your bikes. More information and details on pledging can be found here.
