There’s still plenty of time to get those essential Christmas presents, but TWC are here to help take out the faff and hours of online searching. We’ve compiled a few of our favourite commuter cycling products which we think any female rider would love this year.

Ass Savers

Knog Oi Bell

One of the most important features to have on your bike is a quality bell. You never know when you need to make your presence known, but staying safe, seen and heard are paramount for all riders.

The Oi bell from Knog was launched earlier this year and has certainly made an impact. It smashed its Kickstarter page after revealing its super slim and sleek design. We’ve been testing it ourselves, and we’re impressed by it’s easy to use and pleasant ring-a-ding ding.

What Christmas would be complete without a little bling?

Bike Nicks

Launched earlier this year, Bike Nicks made a pretty big impact in the women’s commuter cycling scene. Pretty and stylish, these bicycle friendly knickers offer just enough padding to take the ache out of the saddle.

Lezyne Femto Duo

Bike lights are super important for every city and urban cyclist. You never know when you could get caught out in low-light conditions, and having a light on significantly increases your chance of being seen.

The Femto duo helmet light from Lezyne is a brilliant tool for cyclists. The front light emits 15 lumens, while the rear puts out 7 lumens; both feature three different output modes. With easy to replace batteries, the Femto Duo is a simple front and rear lighting system.

Findra Betty Neck Warmer

British cycling brand, Findra, has your neck covered for winter with these super soft merino neck warmers.

The fantastic properties of merino wool allows you to keep warm, and cool at the same time. The fabric wicks away moisture, and the natural anti-bacterial benefits keeps it staying fresh… although we do advise you wash it from time to time!

Liv Quick Fix Combo Kit

No cyclist would be complete without a repair kit to keep them pedalling. The women’s specific bike brand, Liv Bikes, have developed this handy all-in-one repair kit for those pesky punctures.

The kit includes: a LIV seat bag, 12 glueless patches,2 tire levers, mini pump and a 9 function multi-tool. Available here for £27.

Bell Coast Helmet

Bell helmets are renowned for producing excellent cycling head wear for women. Designs are bold, sleek and stylish, but most of all, they are protective.

The Bell Coast model is an all round cycling helmet. It’s well shaped and ventilated that you can wear it on the roads, the trails and even on more leisurely cycles. The helmet has a dial fit system, with MIPS protection technology and snap fast chin strap to keep it firmly in place.

dhb Flashlight Women’s Thermal Waist Tights

The dhb thermal tights are ideal for cold weather commutes and road rides. They are lined with super soft fleecy fabric, and the high quality performance stretch material allows them to move with you.

The carefully placed reflective detailing throughout the tights allows for maximum visibility in low light conditions.

Altura Sector 30 Backpack

The new commuter backpack from Altura would make the ideal gift for your cycling someone who needs to carry everything, and the kitchen sink. We’ve been reviewing it at TWC and it’s essentially the Mary Poppins of cycling bags because it can pack so much away, without leaving you looking like a turtle.

There’s a large protective laptop compartment, a larger main area, internal organisers and plush pockets for sunglasses and phones. It’s got so many cool features, like reflective detail and bike lock attachment, that it doesn’t even look like a cycle specific bag. It even has a rain cover included.

Levi High-Rise Skinny Commuter Jeans

Cycling to a lunch date, or just to the shops, then these Levi commuter jeans make it easy to look great, and still ride comfortably.

Tapered and cut to flatter the feminine form, this jacket is decorated in an ultra reflective design. Not only does it light you up like a beacon, it’s also super breathable and waterproof. Kali Loka Helmet

Bobbin Brownie Bike

No cyclist gift guide would be complete without a shiny new bicycle, and don’t you just love this retro raspberry red Bobbin bike?
