Lee Valley Park has announced that as of the 10 April it will host ladies only sessions every Friday.
For just £5, cyclists of all standards can enjoy up to two and half hours of cycling on the London 2012 venue’s one mile road circuit every Friday between 09.30 and 12. Afterwards you can treat yourself to a well earned hot drink and chats with fellow riders.
John Scripps, Lee Valley VeloPark Assistant Manager said: “We’re launching these new Bike and Brunch sessions in time for summer so female cyclists can start their weekend early and enjoy pedalling round our road circuit in the sun.”
The one mile road circuit track which winds scenically around Lee Valley VeloPark is traffic free and closed to the public making it the perfect location for beginners to improve their technique and for more experienced riders to work on their time.
The Bike and Brunch sessions will take place every Friday at Lee Valley VeloPark between 9:30 and 12:00.
Cyclists who don’t have their own bike can hire one at the centre for an extra £5 for these sessions, making the total cost just £10 which also includes a helmet. Helmets must be worn for the sessions and can also be rented for £3 if riders don’t have their own bike.
