Hot off the press! A copy of ‘The Girls’ Bicycle Handbook’ landed on our desks today. Penned by Caz Nicklin, founder and owner of Cyclechic*, an online retailer dedicated to providing women with stylish cycling clothes and accessories.
Out on the 3rd April 2014, Caz’s aim was to create a book that was as useful and as pretty as possible, to give the reader the best of both worlds when it comes to practical information and that all important style inspiration.
Tackling topics such as the barriers that put many women off cycling, there’s sections on getting back in the saddle, cycle safety and the logistics of cycling to work, along with maintenance and, of course, what to wear on your bike.
In a world awash with books catering to MAMILs it’s refreshing to see a book dedicated to women who need practical no-nonsense advice and information on cycling, and cycling in style.
‘The Girls’ Bicycle Handbook’ is available to pre-order, and if you follow Caz’s blog she’ll be featuring snippets of advice from the book over the next couple of months.
Price: £14.99
