Red Bull Introduces the World’s Longest Day Cycling Race

Entries are now open for Red Bull Timelaps

The changing of the clocks every October signifies the coming of shorter days and a steep rise in turbo training sessions, so why not go out with a bang and take part in the longest one-day road cycling event?

The Red Bull Timelaps launches this year and will see 600 riders race on a 6.6km closed circuit for 25 hours, taking full advantage of the clocks going back by one hour. The event will take place on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th October at Windsor Great Park where teams of four will aim to complete the most laps in 25 hours.

Fittingly participants will be treated to an added twist at 2 am, allowing them to make the most of the extra hour when the clocks go back. Dubbed the ‘Power Hour’, riders will take on a new shorter course where their laps over the following 60 minutes will count double.

Entries for Red Bull TimeLaps are now open, with team entry costing £250 and £200 if all team members are under 25.

Those without a complete team can still enter as a single entrant and be matched with a team closer to the date. To secure a place, find out more information about the event here or watch the video below…
