Travelling with your bike can be a nuisance. Not only do you have to figure out how to carefully, and lovingly, pack your bike away, but you also need to consider what the safest way is to transport it.

However, on top of these worries, the hassle and costs of taking a bicycle abroad can be confusing and frustrating. Airline policy on bike transport varies considerably between companies.
