Top Tips for Training on your Road Bike
The Vulpine Merino Wool Long Sleeve T-shirt is undoubtedly lovely to touch due to its super soft merino wool. It’s the warmest base layer I have ever worn and it has kept me much more snug than I thought when first trying it on.
The fabric feels great on and the design is very flattering, with a nice tucked in waist and slim fit sleeves that help to keep the wind out. As we’ve come to expect from Vulpine, there are extra details which make it feel more luxurious than other gear on the market. All of the seams are trimmed with a nice pink thread on the interior. And this added style on the Vulpine Merino Tee puts it ahead of any other baselayer I have ever worn.
There is a single pocket on the right rear. It only has a button to close it up, so perhaps it works better only as a styling feature, as anything you put in there would be rather insecure.
I really like that the Vulpine Merino Tee has been designed to be worn both as a casual top and a base layer, but I think I would rather go with the latter here. I tested a size small, which came up a bit too tight to just wear just as a tee when out riding, I didn’t feel too comfortable wearing this alone, but as a base layer it is perfect.
