Review: dhb Wisp Gilet

Oooh la la, so pretty in pink and functional too

A gilet is one of those pieces of kit that always seem to come in handy. You can stash it in your jersey without a seconds thought and time and time again it’ll prove to be a lifesaver, especially on chilly descents.

This offering from dhb is a winner. Coming in at £27.11, it is not too hard on the wallet and we are happy to report that is performs pretty well.

The first thing you notice about the product is how light it is. Feather light in fact. The gilet is an effective windbreaker and will also protect you from the odd (very light) rain shower.

Additional features are few and far between – there are no pockets, but 3M Scotchlite tape at the front and back are a nice touch and make this jacket an ideal option for commuters. There is also a fleece lined collar and zip guard to protect your chin.

Overall I love this gilet. Such a handy piece of kit to throw in the jersey pocket. It looks fantastic too, I love the colour combo!
