Adidas has today launched its new adistar SS15 cycling range. Taking inspiration from its white and black, three stripe heritage, the range offers a sleek and classic design.
Key elements of the apparel include ‘Drag Zero’ fabric which has been tested in a wind tunnel and has been used for the jersey along with a covered front zipper to improve aerodynamics. Meanwhile the shorts offer a high level of compression to reduce fatigue and specific attention to aero hems and seams give this range a high performance feel.
Laura Trott has been named as a brand ambassador for the new line as has been putting it to the test over the past number of weeks:
“I’ve tried out the new adistar range for a few weeks. The fit is brilliant and is performing great when I’m in the saddle. The jersey and bodysuit combo also look really cool, with a slick design that looks like a modern version of the classic adidas kits. It’s really promising for the future of cycling kit to have products which look excellent, are specific to females and are super comfortable.”
The range is available on www.adidascycling.com from today, and features the following items:
- Adidas adistar Long sleeved Jersey – £90
- Adidas adistar short sleeved Jersey – £80
- Adidas adistar body suit (female only) – £100
- Adidas adistar gloves – £27
