The signs are up, the floors are down, the shop has been stocked – that can only mean one thing; it’s the final countdown! This Saturday 24th August, the brand, spanking, shiny new BikePark Wales throws open its doors and unveils its trails for the first time. Check out the latest video to see what you can expect to be riding.
The first full-size MTB bike park in the UK, the centre is based in Methyr Tydfil, South Wales. With a shop, café, rental fleet, on-site mechanic, trail centre and an extensive array of trails to play in, there’s something to suit mountain bikers of every level.
Fancy some smooth, groomed, flowy trails? Or is loose, rocky, technical and steep more your thing? It looks like BikePark Wales have it all covered, with MTB legend Tracy Moseley herself giving it the thumbs up.
This final installment of the making of BikePark Wales video series showcases what’s on offer nicely. We love the fact that all the facilities have been well thought out, from rental fleet and bike wash to the locally sourced, quality food for the café.
Of course, the best way to find out what it’s like is to visit! Uplifts can be booked now from the BikePark Wales website – and we anticipate this being pretty popular. We hope to see you on the trails there soon.
