The UCI Track Cycling World Championships take place next month in Hong Kong, and we’ve just found out who will be representing Team GB, and cycling to an anticipated success.
From the 20 men and women selected, 10 will be making their World Champinship début performances, including Welsh cyclist Manon Lloyd who will be joining Elinor Barker and team mates for the endurance heats.

The women’s Team GB squad heading to Hong Kong: Katie Archibald, Elinor Barker, Ellie Dickinson, Neah Evans, Emily Kay, Manon Lloyd and Emily Nelson who will be taking up the endurance, while Katy Marchant will be competing in the sprint events.
Laura Kenny will be sitting out this event after announcing that her and husband, Jason Kenny, are expecting their first child.
With a good mixture of talent on the women’s Team GB squad, we’re expecting an exciting series of events at the championships, ones that we hope will result in success.
The UCI Track Cycling World Championships will take place in Hong Kong, April 12th – 16th.
