Total Women’s Cycling nominated for Specialist Consumer Site in 2013 BikeBiz awards

We are delighted and honoured to announce that after less than a year since launching, Total Women’s Cycling have been nominated for the 2013 BikeBiz awards, the cycle industry awards for the UK.

Total Women’s Cycling are finalists in the ‘Specialist Consumer Site’ category, an award for the best consumer-facing bicycle-based website carrying news, features, reviews and the like. We would like to extend a huge thank you to all those who took the time lobbying for us, to get us this far – we greatly appreciate it.

From here on in, you – our readers – can’t vote for us, (unless you’re in the industry dahling). Voting is now passed over to industry judges to deliberate over who will win at the coveted BikeBiz Awards 2013. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at the Hilton Metropole, NEC, Birmingham, on Wednesday 26th September, the evening before the Cycle Show launches.

Admittedly, we’re up against some behemoth competition, nominated again are road.cc who were last year’s winners, along with BikeRadar, Singletrack, and MPORA. We feel privileged to be among such worthy company and incredibly grateful just for the nomination.

We’d like to take the opportunity to thank all our readers for visiting Total Women’s Cycling, the responses and support we’ve received has been overwhelming and you’ve helped us make the site what it is today. Even if we don’t win the award, we feel incredibly lucky to be a part of all of this.
