Now, the brand is launching a new ambassador initiative for the UK: the Pearl Izumi Champion Team. They are on the hunt for a diverse group of cycling enthusiasts across all levels and abilities that share a passion for the sport.

Potential Champions will be devotees to road or mountain biking, and dedicated to inspiring others to get involved with cycling. They should be willing to challenge themselves, and have a desire to grow the sport in the UK through their local community and social media.

Successful Champions will receive limited edition Pearl Izumi kit, invitations to exclusive events, entrance to races, monthly fitness goals and expert tuition to really test themselves. Successful candidates will ride in Pearl Izumi Champion Team colours in 2017 and must be willing to challenge themselves, but not lose sight of why they love to cycle.
