Helmet brand KASK have become the latest to show a desire to support women’s cycling by partnering with Strongher.
The brand announced their new relationship with the women’s cycling initiative today. Founded by Marianne Vos, Strongher are working to build grassroots women’s cycling via a wide range of projects, and rides, as well as providing content on their website.
KASK work with a selection of women’s teams, including Bigla Pro Cycling and Lares Waowdeals. However, they’ve realised that in order to cater properly for a women’s market they need to provide a larger range of sizes as well as perhaps new shapes and styles.
The brand are now working on a women’s specific project, following two years of extensive research, but they’re also hoping the partnership will provide them with even more detailed feedback.
KASK’s Ylenia Battistello says: “We work closely with female cyclists of all abilities – including some of the world’s very best professionals, whose demands for performance, comfort, safety and style are understandably high! We also know that women cyclists of all abilities and levels of experience require the same standards, quality and considerations for their helmets.
“Working together with Strongher, this importance is even more focused, and we are proud to be in partnership to help promote and improve women’s cycling, with the best equipment and the best opportunities possible.”
Marit Huisman, Strongher Ambassador says: “We love cycling. We love the natural high it brings us. It makes us feel good. It makes us feel confident. It makes us feel Strongher. We want every woman, beginner or pro, to share and enjoy these feelings with us.
“We are now very happy with the collaboration with KASK as we share the same ambition to get more women on bikes and riding them safely. KASK and Strongher will together create unique events and inspire women around the world to ride their bikes.”
