Evans Cycles, the high street bike shop and winner of the Cycle Retail Chain of the Year category at the 2014 Total Women’s Cycling Awards have announced new dates for their ever popular ‘One for the Girls‘ women’s cycling evenings.
The evenings are always well attended, and no wonder. Evans lay on talks, demonstrations, Q&A sessions, goody bags, and drinks and nibbles. It’s a great opportunity to meet and mingle with other female cyclists, get the lowdown on how to gear up for autumn riding, hear insider knowledge on how to get the most comfortable ride, or what to eat to keep you fueled.
If that wasn’t enough, Evans Cycles are offering all women who attend a great discount, with 10% off the RRP on bikes and 20% off the RRP on clothing and accessories, which is perfect if you are in the market for new lights or a jacket.
For the autumn series of events, they have paired up with cycling brand Specialized, so you can expect the following happening at each event:
- Preparing for the season ahead – given by Evans Cycles riders Helen, Alexis and Emma, and Dee
- Setting your bike up for comfortable and efficient riding – from Olivia of Specialized
- A Q&A with our store mechanic – come with your questions ready!
There are 6 events taking place across the country and you’ll need to sign up to secure your place. These events are brilliant if you know someone who is thinking of getting into cycling or just starting to ride, so grab a friend or two to come with you. They fill up quickly though so get a date in the diary now!
