Enduro fans all over the UK would have been sad to hear that there would be no Gravity Enduro UK series for 2016 – but thankfully there is light at the end of the tunnel.
It was announced today that a brand new, National MTB Enduro Series will launch, beginning in Spring 2016.

The series, brought about by MTB Enduro Ltd, will be supported my Marin Bikes and will feature seven events between March and October.
Courses will be a mixture of man made and natural trails, and exact details of each location are yet to be released. A website is also on the “to be announced” list.
MTB Enduro Ltd are the organisation behind the Mondraker Enduro Series as well as a number of other events, and they promise: “racers of all levels a chilled [a] ‘ride with your mates’ approach and trails that will keep you buzzing well after the racing has finished.”
They’ll be giving away spot prizes as well as rewards for those on the podium.
The 2016 dates for your diary are:
- Round 1 – Mid Wales 19-20 March
- Round 2 – South West England 23-24 April
- Round 3 – South Wales, 21-22 May
- Round 4 – Scotland 25-26 June
- Round 5 – North Wales 23-24 July*
- Round 6 – Northern Engalnd 24-25 September
- Round 7 – Midlands 22-23 October
Full face helmets will be “strongly advised” but not compulsory, and following insurance discussions during 2015, the organisers confirm that it will be rider’s responsibility to insure against loss of earnings in the case of an incident.
