Specialized’s 2013 Jett Expert hardtail is designed for XC trail riding and ready for the foray into racing too, it features a fully butted M4 aluminium frame with female geometry all rolled into a 29er. All three size options, 15, 17 and 19, have 29” wheels. The RockShox Reba RL 29 fork have 80mm of custom tunable travel with rebound/preload adjustment and lockout; the offset varies depending on the frame size – 15″ has 51mm offset fork, sizes 17″ and 19″ have standard 46mm offset.
The groupset is a mix of Shimano Deore shifters, XT Shadow rear derailleur with SRAM X7 front derailleur, Custom SRAM S-1250 10-speed XC double crankset, SRAM cassette and BB. Brakes are Avid Elixir 3R but are switched for Shimano Deore hydraulics for 2014.
