Probably our favourite thing about the Trek Skye is the altered wheel diameter depending upon frame size.
The 13.5″ and 15.5″ bikes (for women 148-168cm) feature 27.5″ wheels, which are larger than traditional 26″ wheels, thus a little heavier, but faster and more capable over obstacles. The 17.5″ and 18.5″bikes (for women 168cm – 185cm) have 29″ wheels – again, slightly heavier than 27.5″, but what they add in weight they make up for in quick speed once up to full acceleration.
