If there’s anything that divides female riders it’s pink bikes, clothes and parts. So how about this? British component maker Hope Technology has reintroduced pink as a colour option for some mountain bike components.

Hope says: “While we know the guys will love it too, this range is aimed at the growing number of female riders who demand high performance components to match their riding style (but with a little female touch)!”

The range comprises: Hope Tech Evo X2 brakes, aimed at cross-country and freeride style riding and featuring the externally adjustable Tech Evo lever (great for those with a slightly smaller reach) and fixed or floating pink-centred rotors; Hope Pro 2 Evo hubs in a full range of front and rear standards; Hope F20 pedals with 20 replaceable steel pins per pedal for traction; and a freeride/cross-country stem in 90mm and 50mm lengths.
