Again, it’s down to personal preference here – some people just make do with normal 1.5l plastic bottles, others with cycle-specific water bottles, other with greater capacity. It depends how remote you’re going to be. If you’re unsure where and when the next drinking water is going to be available, consider something like the Ortlieb 10l water bladder. It’s even available with a shower attachment, but that may feel a touch wasteful if you’ve just carried 10 litres of water for 50 miles.
