The wait has been long – but we’re sure it’s been worth it. After much anticipation, the new clothing brand from Anna Glowinski, ‘Anna’s Legs’ went live today and products are available to buy.
Glowinski was the brain behind Ana Nichoola, a brand many of us loved a few years ago that provided functional and awesome looking cycling kit for women who valued style as well as performance.
Highlights included those awesome mitts with the bows on, and the Velo cardi from the causal collection. However, Glowinski stepped away from the brand, branching out into broadcasting, working as a presenter on ITV’s the Cycle Show as well as dabbling in several other projects.
We’ve been missing Glowinski’s style and flare for design ever since Ana Nichoola left us, so we were thrilled to learn of the new project ‘Anna’s Legs’
The capsule range currently consists of three pairs of leggings – one in a plain electric blue for £95 and two printed pairs for £105. Designed for cycling above all, they all feature a top of the range CyTech pad and high waist to ensure there’s no chance of you flashing more than desired whilst the yoga style also cuts out the chance of the fabric digging in.
We’ve yet to try the tights, but we did check them out on display at SPIN cycle show – noting the super stretchy, soft material and reflective tabs as well as a handy key pocket at the lower back.
Designed for road, leisure and urban riding, these tights are made for ‘stylishly owning the road’ – and we can’t wait to give them a whirl and see how they feel.
Glowinski has worked with the rapidly growing online retailers VeloVixen to bring these tights to the public – cutting out the hurdles of distribution that ultimately made Ana Nichoola difficult to maintain. Glowinski hopes to bring out a new collection three times a year, and all the tights are designed for year round wear – and you can see the first three pairs here.
