1. Laura Trott
Can we call Laura Trott the Queen of 2014? She’s certainly had an impressive year, with a brilliant haul at the Track World Cup, Track World Championships, British National Road Race Championships, British National Track Championships and, of course, the Commonwealth Games.
We chose this photo of Laura Trott winning gold in the Commonwealth points race because it shows her and her British Cycling team-mate Katie Archibald, who were competing for different nations in this competition. No hard feelings, obviously!
