Whether you want to join a local cycling club, go on a guided ride, get a puncture fixed, hire a bike or just sip a coffee whilst flicking through a magazine, The Cycle Hub is the destination of choice for Newcastle’s cyclists.
Set beside the River Tyne, the bike cafe is a great starting point for a gentle ride along the river or for a pleasant flat start to a more intense ride. Printed route maps for all abilities can be picked up for free from the cafe’s information centre or riders with GPS devices or smart phones can download GPX file or PDF versions from the website.
The cycle cafe serves breakfast, lunch, snacks and ice creams and also organises social and guided rides for those that book in advance.
