Ham and Leek Pie
A British classic, this ham and leek pie is also great with shredded chicken and mushrooms too. Choose whether you want to go all out and make your own pastry, or keep it simple and buy the pre-rolled shop bought stuff (we won’t judge you). Then chop up your ham and leeks into bite size chunks and make your sauce using butter, garlic, tarragon, creme fraiche and chicken stock. The pie will take around 25 minutes to bake in a preheated oven and goes beautifully with creamy mashed potatoes and tenderstem broccoli.

Ham and Mushroom Tagliatelle
One of the most simple dishes going, all you need to create a delicious ham and mushroom tagliatelle dish (aside from the obvious ham, mushrooms and tagliatelle) is an onion, some garlic, a pot of creme fraiche or cream, dry white wine, parmesan, oregano and seasoning. The whole dish takes around 15 minutes to make and should be served with garlic bread and the rest of the white wine you opened to cook it.

Ham Hock Soup
A staple winter warmer, ham hock soup is one of the more traditional ways to use up leftover Christmas ham but tastes so good we still had to include it in our leftover recipe round-up. To make the broth you’ll need a large soup pan, butter, frozen peas, stock, double cream, garlic, parsley and seasoning. As your ham is already cooked the soup will be ready in a flash, just add the shredded ham and served with toasted baguette.
