Five Nutrition Products that are Surprisingly Delicious

The secret to how we've been powering through this month...

Natural Energy Gel Recipe: Pear Delight

It’s been a pretty hectic month at the TWC offices, the Christmas stress has struck and the TWC Awards are in full swing, so what better way to distress than to go for a nice bike ride?

And to keep us going all day long in the saddle, there’s a few nutritional products that have taken our fancy…

Mulebar Salted Caramel Kicks

You know the saying don’t knock it until you’ve tried it? It totally applies here. The energy gel is made from Himalayan Crystal Salts (a very magical sounding ingredient) and is actually a lot less sickly than the standard fruity energy gels you will find on the shop shelves.

Out of all the strange energy gel flavours in the market, this concoction is one of our favourites.

SIS Rego Mint Chocolate Protein Bar

This bar from SIS is a winner in our eyes, considering how bland protein bars can be. We’re big fans of mint choc chip at TWC and have enjoyed munching on this one. It’s just the protein dense snack we’ve been looking for!

Natural Energy Gel Recipe: Strawberry-Chia Gelly Cubes

CNP Hydro Gel Passonfruit

This ones not as sickly as other fruit based energy gels because of its refreshing coconut water and pineapple juice base. It’s been developed to help the problem people find they often have when consuming energy gels (that horrible indigestion, sickly feeling), so it’s much lighter and goes down a treat!

Gluten Free Recipe: Granola Power Bar

Mule Bar Eastern Express Energy Bar

We weren’t too sure about this one when it landed on our desk, we thought it was a bit too adventurous, but if you’re into bombay mix (it honestly has the same taste) then you should try it for yourself.

It’s nice to have a savoury energy bar for a change, but there’s still a sweet kick in there which totally worked for us!

Natural Energy Gel Recipe: Apple Cinnamon

CNP Super Fruits High Protein Porridge

We’re always finding new ways to get protein into our diet, especially with our home made recipes, but when we’re looking for a quick fix that requires no brain power of ours, the CNP high protein porridge sorts us right out!
