The Cycle Show is a magazine-style series launched in 2012 produced by Century TV for ITV and sponsored by Chain Reaction Cycles. The studio based chat show has featured some of the biggest names in cycling, and also features anything and everything connected to two wheels.
The pilot series included eight half hour episodes and it returned for 2013 on July 8 with one hour episodes. The show features something for everyone from roadies to mountain bikers and everything in between. There was also a special women only episode in 2013 to promote the achievements of female cyclists and highlight women in the sport. The 2013 cycle show also saw ITV take the show on the road rather than staying solely in the Look Mum No Hands Café in London, it also featured the return of the famous Cycle Show Sprint challenge. The show is host by Graham Little, with support from Rob Hayles, Anna Glowinski and other guest presenters.
The show was first broadcast when cycling became more popular after the 2012 Olympics and the success of British Cyclists in the Olympic Games in London. Some of the high profile guests have included Bradley Wiggins, Rachel, Gee and Dan Atherton, Gary Fisher and Laura Trott and many more. The show will return in 2014 for series 3, and there is hope that the new series will have 13-16 episodes instead of eight.
