The London Bike Show is an annual cycling exhibition held in London’s Excel Centre. The relatively new event was launched in 2011, and has grown in just three years with the 2012 show attracting over 85,000 visitors. It will return in 2014 on 13-16 February.
The show caters for all disciplines and includes cycling demos, talks with experts, and activities as well as hundreds of exhibitors. It runs alongside the Outdoors Show, The Active Travel Show and the London Boat Show. A showcase event for the UK bike industry, the 2013 bike show became part of history as it hosted the UK’s first indoor criterium, in partnership with the IG London Nocturne series.
Visitors have the opportunity to see upcoming products being launched in the new season as well as being able to buy discounted products from exhibitors and get expert advice, informative talks from riders, outdoor pursuit’s experts, nutrition experts and many more. It also hosts the Bike Radar training hub, The Animal Sports Tour, DMR Pump Track, road bike test track and cycling performance theatre. The tickets for the 2014 event range from £13 to £16 if booked in advance, and are also valid for the other shows in the Excel Centre. Organised by Vos Media the event has something for all ages and most of the attractions and talks are free once you have purchased a ticket.
