Starting off in the cold can be bad news for knees. Protect your knees from the elements, and keep them warm and performing well, by popping on a pair of leg or knee warmers.
Essentially, the leg version of arm warmers, they’ll sit from mid-thigh to mid-calf or ankle, and are held in place with elastic or a grippy silicone band. Similar to the arm warmers, they transform your shorts to full length tights. You can get ones that are fleece lined for extra warmth, windproof, and even water-resistant.
If you MTB, then leg warmers are great addition to your riding wardrobe as they also offer a little bit of protection from incidental scrapes and bumps, and are often thin enough to fit under kneepads.
