Reflective Cycling Accessories to Rock your Ride
Ringtool
Multi-tools are actual life savers and we stand by the fact that you can assemble nearly anything (especially Ikea furniture) with one. We came across this one the other day and wowza, nine tools inside this tiny two inch ring? Brilliant.
The Ringtool attaches effortlessly to your key chain, already solving the problem of forgetting to take a multi tool with you anywhere, because let’s face it, we don’t always remember to carry one with us. And although they’re small enough and not that much of a bother to carry around, we think this concept is a very neat solution for on-the-go bike maintenance, for urban commuters looking for a quick fix.
Made from tempered stainless steel and weighing the same as a slice of bread, this is a winning gadget in our books. The Ringtool comes with a bottle-cap opener, five Hexheads (3, 4, 5, 6, 8 mm), a flathead driver, Philips driver, Torxhad T25 driver and two Spoke wrenches (3.23, 3.30mm).
Having started off as a Kickstarter project, it’s now in full swing and can be purchased for just £18 here.
PUYL
Here at TWC, we love a good 2-in-1 product that serves double duties, saving you both time and money. And with PUYL, you get the first illuminating bicycle light which doesn’t need a battery, as well as a nifty bicycle pump!
The PUYL will sort your flat tires out in no time, recharge itself whilst you’re pumping them up and then require a mere 2 minutes to attach itself to your bike’s frame, to become your front light. With every 20 seconds of pumping, you get a very generous 45 minutes of LED power for the road. And requiring no batteries, running on electromagnetic induction to generate power, the light can be charged an unlimited amount of times! It’s both a very eco friendly and useful gadget for urban cyclists.
The catch? It’s still a prototype, but we’re holding on for this one to be made.
